Predicta Future Inc. ("Company," "we," "us," or "our") operates the Lone Survivor game and website at https://www.playlonesurvivor.com and related services (the "Service"). This Privacy Policy explains what personal information we collect, how we use and share it, and the choices you have. It applies to your use of the Service and is incorporated into our Terms and Conditions.

The Service is intended only for residents of the United States who are 21 years of age or older. By using the Service, you agree to this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

1. Information We Collect

Information you provide to us.

• Account information: your email address, a password (which we store only in hashed form — we never store your plain-text password), and a mobile phone number.
• Profile information: a username, your chosen avatar initials, and an avatar color.
• Age confirmation: your attestation that you are at least 21 years old, recorded with a timestamp.
• Communications: information you send us when you contact support or otherwise correspond with us.

Information we collect automatically.

• Device and usage information: your IP address (including the IP address recorded when you confirm you are 21+), and basic technical and log data generated when you use the Service.
• Session and cookie data: we use a login session cookie to keep you signed in. See Section 5.
• Gameplay data: your contest entries, daily picks and their outcomes, streaks, and prize records. Some of this is generated by you and some by our systems as your play is graded.

We do not intentionally collect Social Security numbers, government ID numbers, or full financial account numbers, except that we may request tax information (such as a Form W-9) if required in connection with prizes.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use personal information to:

• create and manage your account, and authenticate you when you sign in;
• verify your phone number by SMS and enforce our one-account-per-phone rule;
• record your confirmation that you are 21 or older;
• operate contests — accept and grade your picks, run settlement, and determine winners;
• notify winners and deliver prizes;
• send you service messages, including SMS verification codes, pick-deadline reminders, results, void notices, and winner notices;
• detect, prevent, and respond to fraud, multi-accounting, abuse, security incidents, and violations of our Terms;
• comply with legal obligations, including any tax reporting related to prizes; and
• maintain, improve, and secure the Service.

3. How We Share Your Information

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We share it only as follows:

• Service providers. We share information with vendors who process it on our behalf under contract, including:
  • Twilio — SMS phone verification and account text messages;
  • our email provider (e.g., Resend or Postmark) — transactional emails such as confirmations and reminders;
  • our hosting and database providers (e.g., Vercel and our managed Postgres provider) — running and storing the Service;
  • our sports-odds data provider (e.g., The Odds API) — which supplies odds and results data and does not receive your personal information.
• Legal and safety. We may disclose information if required by law, subpoena, or legal process, or where we believe disclosure is necessary to protect our rights, enforce our Terms, prevent fraud or harm, or protect the safety of any person.
• Business transfers. If we are involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction, subject to this Privacy Policy.
• With your direction. We may share information at your request or with your consent.

4. Text Messages (SMS)

When you register, you agree to receive SMS messages from us, including a one-time verification code and account-related messages such as pick-deadline reminders. Message and data rates may apply, and message frequency varies. You can reply STOP to opt out of non-essential texts; note that you must complete phone verification to enter contests, so opting out of verification messages may prevent participation. SMS is delivered through our provider (currently Twilio).

5. Cookies and Sessions

We use a small number of strictly necessary cookies to keep you logged in and to operate the Service securely. These are essential to the Service and are not used for advertising. Because they are required for the Service to function, disabling them may prevent you from signing in or playing. We do not use third-party advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.

6. Data Retention

We keep your personal information for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the Service. We retain certain records longer where necessary to comply with legal, tax, accounting, fraud-prevention, or dispute-resolution obligations. Some game records — for example, contest results and audit logs — are kept on an append-only basis for integrity and are not deleted in the ordinary course. When information is no longer needed, we delete or de-identify it.

7. How We Protect Your Information

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect your information, including hashing passwords, transmitting data over encrypted connections, and restricting access to accounts marked as administrators. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, however, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential.

8. Your Choices and Rights

You can review and update your username and avatar in your profile, and you can contact us to access, correct, or delete your account information. To make a request, email us at milo@predicta.live. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request, and some information may be retained as described in Section 6 or where an exception applies.

California residents. Under the California Consumer Privacy Act (as amended), California residents have the right to know the categories and specific pieces of personal information we collect, to request deletion or correction of their personal information, and not to be discriminated against for exercising these rights. We do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined under California law. To exercise these rights, email milo@predicta.live; we will respond as required by law. You may use an authorized agent to submit a request on your behalf.

Residents of other U.S. states with applicable privacy laws may have similar rights; contact us at the same address and we will honor rights that apply to you.

9. Children's Privacy

The Service is not directed to anyone under 21, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 21. If we learn that we have collected such information, we will delete it and close the account. If you believe a minor has provided us information, contact milo@predicta.live.

10. Third-Party Services

The Service relies on third-party services, including any gift-card merchant used to deliver a prize. This Privacy Policy does not cover those third parties' practices, and we are not responsible for them. Please review their privacy policies and the terms of any gift card you receive.

11. United States Only

The Service is operated in and intended for use within the United States. We do not intend to offer it to, or collect information from, individuals outside the United States. If you access the Service from outside the United States, you do so at your own initiative and are responsible for compliance with local laws.

12. Changes to this Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date above and provide notice through the Service or by email where appropriate. Your continued use of the Service after the changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
